Hélène Darroze Named Best Female Chef in the World

Chef Hélène Darroze has recently been named the title “Best Female Chef in The World 2015” by Veuve Clicquot this past week. Ovsiouly this is a very prestigious and sought-after recognition that any chef would love to receive. The award is decided by a voting body of some 1,000 fellow chefs, critics, and culinary experts who all hail from the Diner’s Club “World’s 50 Best Restaurants” Academy.

Chef Darroze comes from an area of southern France known as Landes and is a well-respected chef in the industry, She comes from a family of chefs and cooks, and has been awarded two Michelin starts over her lifetime at both of her restaurants that are located in London and Paris. While she has always been known throughout the nation of France, it wasn’t really until she opened a location in London where she found international recognition for her hard work.

The award will be given to Hélène Darroze on June 1st in London when Verve Clicquot finally reveals their “Top 50 Restaurants in The World” for 2015 list. She will join a list of other esteemed female chefs when she accepts her award in the coming months, and it will certainly not only be a personal achievement, but good for business as well.
