Hugo Boss Suits That Run North of $1000

Pierre Garcon At Saks Fifth Avenue Indianapolis For Hugo Boss

Operating out of Metzingen, Germany Hugo Boss is a large fashion and accessory company that produces a variety of luxury items. The company first opened up for business in 1924 when Hugo Boss wanted to start a clothing company. As the Nazi’s rose to power, Boss joined the party and enjoyed extreme amounts of economic prosperity. One of the reasons Hitler quickly rose to power was how well he restored the economy for Germany. The company was also responsible for designing and producing the uniforms for various sections of the Nazi army. However after the war they broke their ties with the Nazi’s and recuperated their losses after Germany surrendered. Today they are a massive fashion house that makes a variety of fashion goods for both men and women. Hugo Boss is also well known for their suits, and they make some extremely nice ready-to-wear suits. We are going to take a look at the five most expensive suits that they currently make.

5. The T-Richards/Crow Suit- $1,495

The first suit on our list is the T-Richards/Crow suit. This suit is part of the “Boss Tailored Collection”. The pinstripe suit is off-white in color with brown stripes. The suit itself is made from hand in Italy in the famous Guabello Mill, a 200 year old fabric mill prized for its high-quality goods. The T-Ricahrds/Crow suit is made entirely from a combination of virgin wool and cashmere. Those materials make the suit extremely comfortable to wear, however while appearing like a summer/spring suit, the materials of the suit would be quite hot to wear during that time of year. The suit is fitted to be extra slim fit and has notched lapels and decorative button holes. The suit has two button front closures, five button cuffs, a felt lining at the undercollar, two front flap pockets, a chest welt pocket, side vents, front and back darts, and four interior pockets.

4. The T-Harvers/Glover Suit – $1,595

Next up on our list is the T-Harvers/Glover Suit. The suit is a slim fit suit and it is made from virgin wool, giving it a premium feel. The suit was manufactured in Italy in the well known Fratelli Tallia Di Delfino Mill. The suit is light brown in color and has a very subtle plaid pattern on it. This slim fit suit features decorative buttonholes, notched laps, a chest welt pocket, and notched lapels. Hugo Boss completed the suit with side vents and darts located on the front and back of this suit. Hugo Boss also incorporated a partial canvas construction in the jacket to allow it to fit better, be more comfortable, and to ensure that you will get a long use out of this suit.

3. The T-Harvers/Glover Super 13o Suit – $1,595

Next up on our list of the most expensive Hugo Boss suits is the T-Harvers/Glover Super 130 suit. The suit is made in the Guabello Mill like the T-Richards/Crow suit, however this suit is made from ultra-premium, extremely-fine Super 130 virgin wool and silk. If you thought their other suits felt nice, then wait until you feel this one. The ultra-fine fabric also gives this blue plaid suit a unique look to it. Again it seems that Hugo Boss favors slim fit suits (I know I do) as this one is a slim fit. It also features notched lapels, decorative buttonholes, front pockets, and a chest welt pocket. It is cut in similar fashion to the other suits examined.

2. The T-Humphrey/Glover Suit – $1,895

Coming in at number two on our list is the T-Humphrey/Glover suit for $1,895 dollars. The suit is again, slim fit and made from 100% virgin wool. This time however, it is expertly crafted in the Lanificio Carlo Barbera Mill in Italy. The suit has a checkerboard patter to it and is dark blue and grey in color. Like the other suits it is cut in the exact same fashion.

1. The T-Herwin/Gibbs WE  Three Piece Suit – $1,995

The last suit on our list is the T-Herwin/Gibbs WE  Three Piece Suit. The three piece brown suit is a slim fit and is crafted in the E. Thomas Mill in Italy out of again, pure virgin wool. The suit has very subtle woven patterns in it and has notched lapels, decorative buttonholes, a chest welt pocket, a from piped pocket, and two from flap pockets. The matching vest is made from the same material as the suit and is in a six button double breasted style.
