The Five Most Expensive Tablets Available Right Now

Tablets are one of the hottest electronics on the market. They’re smaller than a laptop but larger than a smart phone. They’re also excellent babysitters when it comes to keeping children quiet on long car rides and flights. They’re capabilities are amazing and their easy storage makes them great for travel. The tablet is a big deal. While many make the mistake of thinking they can spend more money for a better tablet, they’re sometimes wrong. The most expensive tablets aren’t always the newest or even the best ones for their particular needs.

iPad Mini – $829

With full retina display, the iPad Mini comes in at $829. This includes Wi-Fi and cellular and it also includes 128GB. There are other Minis for sale at Apple that have fewer GBs, and you can also adjust the price based on not asking for cellular service.

iPad Air – $929

The price of the iPad Air is $929 with Wi-Fi and cellular. Without cellular, you can get the iPad Air with Wi-Fi only for $799. At the moment, it’s the most expensive iPad for sale at any Apple store or online. It’s important to note that this price also includes the 128GB. There are less expensive Airs for sale with fewer GBs.

Surface Windows 8 Pro – $1,050

This tablet features several optional features and several majorly cool features for those who love all things tech related. One of the most impressive features is the fact that this tablet has photo shop and Microsoft Office. Without extra features, you can purchase this one for $899, but the extra features are what make it worth it.

Panasonic 4K Tablet – $5,999

It’s described by Panasonic as business rugged, which means it can be dropped from more than a foot in the air without doing any damage to the tablet. It’s also powered by an Intel Core i5 processor and has more megapixels than most other tablets on the market. It’s a business-oriented tablet, but it’s also one that’s impressively priced.

Stuart Hughs iPad2 – $8 million

It’s the most expensive tablet in the world, and it’s available for sale by famed luxury goods creator Stuart Hughes. It’s encrusted with diamonds, gems and the world’s oldest rock. There are only two of these for sale, which means you don’t have much opportunity to ensure you get one unless you act fast.
