The DeLorean Is Officially Coming Back Into Production

The DeLorean Will Head Back Into Production

Produced only between the years of 1981 to 1983, the DeLorean DMC-12 was the only vehicle that the DeLorean Motor Company every made before they went out of business. It was certainly a very unique and interesting car at the time, and it became wildly popular as the time machine that appeared in the Back to The Future film series. Well fans of this car can rejoice, as the DeLorean official will be produced again, ready to fight another day.

The DeLorean Motor Company has recently announced that due to the popularity of the vehicle in recent times, they will in fact be making this legendary car again. The company, which is based in Texas, has already gone through and had the car approved by the government, so this is definitely happening.

They will be making the vehicles pretty much exactly the same way as they did back in the 1980’s. For the most part, these new DeLoreans will be virtually the same. However the DeLorean Motor Company has expressed interest in updating some of the vehicles dated features. Maybe we would get to see them with more powerful engines or with Bluetooth? One can only hope.

In total, the DeLorean Motor Company will only be producing just 300 replicas of the DeLorean DMC-12, and we can imagine that they will sell extremely fast. As of now, they expect to make the vehicles available for purchase sometime in the early parts of 2017. In terms of cost, the DeLorean Motor Company hopes to sell them for under $100,000 dollars.
