The Ferrari California T is an updated version of the company’s previous California model that was originally unveiled back in 2008. The new California T has new sheetmetal, interior and even an upgraded chassis. The California T features a new engine that pumps out a ton of RPM for the maximum amount of acceleration, power, and speed. Recently, the head test driver over at Ferrari, Raffaele De Simone, took a test drive of the new California T to show off just how powerful it is.

The new model of the California car from Ferrari is a nice improvement that adds more curves and stylistic improvements to the body design that give off a sleek and curvy form. The look blends the old school Ferrari feel from their classic cars with the slim but mean looking modern California. The engine is now a turbocharged V8 that packs a lot of power into it that allows the car to hit 0 to 62 mph in just 3.6 seconds with a top speed maxing out at 196 mph.

The California T is the state of the art vehicle from Ferrari that improves the car on nearly every level compared to its previous model. The turbocharged engine creates more efficiency and  less lag. In the video featuring De Simone, he displays how intense this new Ferrari actually is by driving it through the Col de Turini mountain pass that is a part of the Monte Carlo Rally.

The Ferrari holds up super nicely and sounds amazing while zipping through the tight turns of the canyon.  The upgrades that the company have made to their standard California model are all moving in the right direction to continue innovating and improving their vehicles.
