The Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One racing team has had an incredible year in 2015, as they have largely dominated the racing scene. To celebrate the various victories secured by their team, including Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg, Mercedes-AMG has recently unveiled the Petronas 2015 World Champion Edition of the beloved A 45.

The Mercedes-AMG A 45 Petronas 2015 World Champion Edition features many distinct changes that make it quite special. Naturally it features the same colors that are seen on their Formula One vehicles. This special A 45 also has 19-inch titanium alloy wheels in grey, an added roof spoiler, a larger front air splitter, a completely redesigned interior, AMG performance racing seats, and a range of other Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One racing themes.

Under the hood the vehicle is rocking a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that delivers some 381 hp and 475 Nm of torque in total. Mercedes-AMG have also added the AMG Performance all-wheel drive system and a front axle differential lock to the vehicle. With those additions this A 45 is able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.2-seconds, which is fairly quick for a car of this size.

The Mercedes-AMG A 45 Petronas 2015 World Champion Edition car will be available in limited quantities. It will be sold  in only European markets from January 2016 to just May 2016. According to Mercedes-AMG the vehicle will start at $71,867 dollars in Germany (including a 19% VAT).
