Highlights of the Monterey Car Week 2014

Monterey Auto Week is always filled with high-end luxury cars, classics you simply cannot find anywhere else, and a bevy of high-end viewers that want to show off their own expensive vehicles and collections. However, it’s one of the most popular auto shows on the West Coast. The roads in Pebble Beach’s Concours D’Elegance are filled with vehicles you will never see anywhere else, and here are some of the highlights from the event.

Antique Bugatti’s

These are some of the most high-end vehicles in the world, and it’s here that you will see more in one place than you’ll ever see in the rest of your life. They’re not just on display, either. These classic rides are going around the track at the Monterey Motorsports Reunion and showing off their prowess to anyone interested in watching.

1926 Renault 40CV Labourdette Skiff

This is a car that is gorgeous, and it’s very classic. It’s also not been restored. It’s one of the very few vehicles at the car show that is still in working condition, drives regularly and has not been restored to make this happen. It’s simply been taken care of elaborately for the past 88 years.

1965 Fiberfab Stingray Concept

Only a handful of these vehicles actually exist. They were designed to be used as an advertisement for custom corvette bodies by a California body shop that does custom work. It has a 65’ stingray chassis and it’s got its original motor. There are only four or five of these in the world.

The Renovo Coupe

For the past four years, Renovo has been working on this car in top-secret conditions and they decided to unveil it at the show. It’s designed to show up anything you’ll find at a valet in the hottest spots in Hollywood, and it’s got more than 500-hp, and the ability to go from zero to 60 is 3.4 seconds. It’s also got a starting price tag of $529,000.

Here are some video clips of the show if you couldn’t be there in person:
