Pickup trucks are great vehicles to have that offer tons of different uses for the owners; however, these trucks are actually very expensive to purchase. Despite there being a solid four to five different car companies that offer pickup trucks, they are all in the same price range and cost more than some nice sedans or SUVs that are on the market. Here are the most expensive pickup trucks released in 2014.
5. Silverado 3500 HD – $32,205
The Chevy Silverado is actually much cheaper than the rest of the trucks on this list, but still costs right around the same price as a Jeep Wrangler. The car has a solid 397 horsepower with a 6.6 liter engine and a max payload of 7,222 lbs for hauling pretty much anything. The truck has a nice sized back cab and for the price is a solid pickup truck to look at if you’re in the market.
4. RAM 1500 – $49,630
The Dodge Ram 1500 has a HEMI 5.7 liter V8 engine with an eight speed automatic transition. The car has four wheel drive with anti lock breaks to ensure maximum safety when hauling or towing heavy items. The RAM comes with a navigation system and other features that are nice to have in any vehicle, but this pickup offers a great all around package.
3. RAM 2500 – $53,915
The RAM 2500 is relatively similar to the 1500, featuring the same engine under the hood but offers slightly more horsepower and the ability to haul around a nice weight. The model comes in a two or four door version to provide extra space if this vehicle is going to be used for work and home life.
2. Ford F-150 – $54,410
The Ford F-150 is a classic pickup truck that is probably one of the more widely known brands out there. The truck comes with a 3.5 liter V6 twin turbo engine that offers 365 horsepower. It has a 6 speed automatic transition along with a navigation system and plenty of airbags in the sides, front, and overhead areas of the truck. The F-150 has four wheel drive with 22 inch wheels and will fulfill all of your needs with it’s large bed.
1. RAM 3500 – 55,045
The Dodge RAM 3500 once against offers a 5.7 liter V8 engine with 383 horsepower (the same as the other models). It’s a six speed automatic transition and is essentially the same RAM truck as the others but with upgraded perks and slightly more space. It only has 18 inch wheels which are slightly smaller compared to some competitors but the RAM 3500 is an overall beast that allows for the combination of work and play.
