Check out the New BMW 228i Convertible

BMW 228i

BMW has a loyal following of customers who are always awaiting the next luxury vehicle that the company is planning to release. The 2015 lineup for BMW is looking very strong with the wide market debut of their electric “i” models as well as their traditional looking cars. The next car to hit hte market is a 228i convertible that looks like most other BMW designs but is sleek and a great sports car that has the convertible option.

While the 228i is extremely nice looking, it definitely lacks compared to the other cars that BMW has in their arsenal. The base price for the car is about $38,000 and at that point, it’s relatively generic with limited power and speed for the price; however, when customers take a look at the upgraded M model and even the xDrive, it makes the car well worth it for the size and feel it gives off. A great feature of the 228i car is that it stays extremely silent no matter how fast you are driving or accelerating, which comes at a surprise for a sports car. It delivers a very smooth ride that has speeding feeling like a casual cruise that really makes going out for a drive worth it.

The base model only gives off 240 horsepower with 255 pounds of torque, and goes zero to 60 in a rough 5.7 seconds, yet, it has a top speed of 155 and feels nice to sit in and drive. At the base price point and with its lacking specs, the BMW 228i will probably sell a lot and do a great amount of business for the company and its dealerships. This car is definitely not for enthusiasts but will open up the option of buying a nice looking BMW car to many different people who can have fun and own a convertible.
