Celebrating its 95th birthday, Lamborghini has put together an impressive design off of the Gallardo model – the 5 – 95 Zagato. You may recognize the name Zagato. They’ve worked magic on Aston Martin, Ferrari and of course Lambo. They’ve created some of the world’s most sough after luxury vehicles.
Thus, while the Zagato has a brilliant flavor of its own – it has the heart and soul of the Gallardo, which has officially ceased production. It’s everything you expect from Lambo – 200 mph easy and 0 to 62 mph in 3.5 seconds. It’s exterior design is a uniquely stunning picture. The double-bubble roof and wrap-around windshield are just two of the unique features of the model.
The retail value has not yet been released, but we’re sure Mr. Albert Speiss would know. The Swiss supercar collector owns a number of Zagatos including a 1985 Aston Martin V8 Zagato, a 1990 Alfa Romeo S.Z., and a 2012 Aston Martin V12 Zagato. Oh by the way – the car was built for him.
P.S. there are some auto brands that I suggest you never get behind the wheel of.. Lamborghini is one of them. Why? If you ever have the privilege of driving a Lamborghini nothing will ever be that good again. The minute you get back in your minivan to drive your kids to soccer practice your life will start to feel kind of empty.
