The new Bentley Mulsanne Speed looks absolutely terrific. The Mulsanne is arguably the most high-end car that Bentley “mass-produces” and the company has recently just updated it a whole lot. The Bentley Mulsanne now combines both the highest amounts of luxury imaginable in a car that has a powerful engine. Bentley has recently updated the Mulsanne and has put a much larger 6.75 liter push-rod twin-turbocharged V8 engine. While this is not the largest engine that Bentley uses, it is their largest car. The engine provides the high-end vehicle with 530 horsepower and 811 pounds of torque, hence the name the Mulsanne Speed. This car has about double the torque of a Ford F-250 Super Duty truck (a vehicle designed for torque and towing power), and it needs too because the Bentley nearly weighs a massive 6,000 pounds without anyone in the car.
Since the vehicle has such a high amount of torque it is able to move pretty quick for a vehicle of its class and weight. It can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 5 seconds, which again considering the car nearly weighs 6,000 pounds empty is pretty impressive. Bentley also offers potential buyers an amazing amount of customization and a variety of options. Bentley wants to ensure that all of the needs of their buyers are met, as they don’t forget an single thing. As one would expect the interior is out of this world and has all the features that you would expect a car of this class would have.
I really like this car. While supercars are so appealing, realistically you will probably never drive your Bugatti at its top speed of 250 mph, so high-end luxury cars like this can be amazing. The car not only can perform decently well, given what it is, it retains such a high level of class. It looks like a James Bond villain should drive this in all the best ways possible. The car is set to go on sale next year and should start around $335,600.
