Within the past decade Audi has emerged as a top luxury car brand along side of classic names such as BMW or Mercedes. Audi cars have a great sleek style that is unique to their brand but the company is always improving and developing what’s inside and under the hood of their vehicles to ensure constant customer satisfaction. The 2015 A8 L TDI Quattro Tiptronic is no different, and this luxury car is perfect for long rides.
The new luxury A8 model features a 3 liter clean diesel V6 engine that can get 24 mpg in the city along with 36 on the highway which is enough to travel round trip between Los Angeles and Monterey without needing to stop for fuel. While the engine is technically a diesel, you wouldn’t know it from how quiet everything sounds while running, but using diesel makes everything more efficient. The V6 engine in the A8 only puts out an average at best 240 horsepower; however, having a diesel engine helps offset that by giving the car a massive amount of torque and still allows the luxury vehicle to go 0 to 60 in a mere 6.3 seconds.
Sitting behind the wheel of the new 2015 Audi A8 L TDI Quattro Tiptronic reminds drivers just how nice it can be to get behind the wheel with a lengthy drive ahead of them. The interior of this car features crisp yet soft leather woven in a quilted diamond pattern along with 20 inch aluminum wheels that can absorb minor bumps rather well and still deliver a smooth ride. Audi provides the perfect combination of luxury and power without sacrificing either. The Audi car starts at a base price of $85,100 but with some luxurious upgrades comes in right around the $100,000 price point, but this is one top of the line car for that price.
