The Highest Grossing Films Featuring Brad Pitt

Brad Pitt always has something to celebrate. He’s charitable, he’s got six kids he loves and he’s newly married to his longtime love, Angelina Jolie. He’s also got plenty to celebrate at the box office as well. His movies are some of the most successful in the world, taking in millions of dollars and reaching definite success. Read on to find out which of his films topped the list as his highest-grossing worldwide.

Ocean’s Twelve – $362.7 million

The second installment of the Ocean’s series rounds out this list of Brad Pitt’s most successful box office hits. The entire series was one that people loved and enjoyed, and the ensemble cast featuring actors such as Pitt, George Clooney, Matt Damon and Julia Roberts certainly helped. This movie was the last one in which the entire original cast appears.

Ocean’s Eleven – $450.7 million

When Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Bernie Mac, Matt Damon, Casey Affleck, Julia Roberts, and Don Cheadle took to the big screen to bring the world the awesome Vegas thriller, the world went crazy. The movie was a hit, one of the best movies of 2001. It’s still one of the best movies of all time according to Ocean’s fans.

Mr. & Mrs. Smith – $478.2 million

Fans were anxious to see the onscreen chemistry of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who were rumored to have started an affair during the filming of the movie. Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston at the time, and fans were not surprised when the onscreen couple came out as a real life couple.

Troy – $497.4 million

It’s not completely based on Homer’s Iliad, but it is loosely based on the famous story. In this movie, Pitt plays Achilles. The movie follows his successes in the Greek mythological world as he wins the Trojan War. There was no better actor to cast for this particular role, according to people all over the world.

World War Z – $502.6 million

No one expected Brad Pitt to star in a movie about zombies, but he did. When news broke that the film was particularly bad because of budgeting problems and other issues in the technical department, people were not sure that the movie would do very well. And then it turned out to earn more than a half billion dollars across the globe, and it’s the highest-grossing film in which Pitt has ever starred.
